I am in dire need of this tubed caviar. Heard of it? Didn't think so. It is extremely rare in the USA. But can be found on every corner in Scandanavia. I search the web for it and find a few web sites that carry it but the sites themselves look a little sketchy. And they are expensive too. Upwards of 10 bucks a tube. Thats rediculous. I know I can find it for cheaper. Wondering if they have it in Minnesota?

Rock Band
Well, Soph finally talked us into getting Rock Band for our Playstation. Its a pretty cool game. We are having alot of fun playing it. I still gotta get Rachel to play. Soph has been playing the drums alot and getting blisters on her fingers from the drumsticks. Poor thing. I used to get them on my hands too when I played the drums. I have been playing the drums on Rock Band alot too and have got pretty far so far. I am playing on medium and the songs are getting kinda hard. But I just started playing it so it takes a little getting used to I guess.

Hall Of Famer
This is what I had for lunch yesterday. My favorite burger ever. The Carl's Jr Super Star with cheese. I have had many a burger in my time and this one tops the list. Sure there are other great burgs out there. Fuddruckers, Wendy's "Baconator". But they cant beat this one. I actually had a pretty good one at Flying Star yesterday too. I think it was called the Blues burger with Blue cheese on it. Not bad. I am not liking the Whopper anymore for some reason though.

New Schedule Yet Again.
Well, We got our shift bid at work. The choices they gave us were not that good. There were no 8-5 monday thru friday shifts at all. I bid on the 7:30a to 6:30p with Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. I got that shift. Its not terrible. 4 ten hour shifts will take some getting used to again. And I am glad to be off on Sundays again. Even though I will miss out on the 35% differential. I'd much rather have it off. Wifey is happy with it too.
I finished the shelving system for her and it came out real good. Rachel loves it. Im glad. Now she has her own desk and area to do her crafts and stuff. And I can be next to her doing my craft. World of Warcraft. :)

Back From LC
We just got back from Las Cruces, NM a couple of hours ago. We went out there this weekend to visit Rachels sister and brother in law Charles. Rachel had a workshop for her "Close to my heart" crafts while me and Chuck went to High Desert brewery for a few brewskis. It was pretty fun. We also played alot of guitar hero. Tried playing on hard but got to Metallica One and lost it. Too fast. Kate made some Frito Pie which was excellent and we went to Cracker Barrel too. When we got back in town, Molly was so excited to see us. She played tether ball with Sophie before we left and headed home.

Cruisin'
Cruises are cool. I went on a couple cruises when I was younger and I loved them. They were both on the Mexican riviera. My wife and I went on a cruise on our honeymoon to the caribbean and she is addicted to it. The cruise on our honeymoon started in Galveston, TX and went to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel Mexico. We went on another cruise with Soph last fall that went to Cozumel, Key West and the Bahamas. That was fun too. We have another cruise planned for this May to Alaska and we are very excited about that one. Never been to Alaska. It should be fun.

Fish Toothpaste?
Looks pretty wierd huh? Well, I love it. Its not really known here in the USA. But Scandanavian Kaviar is like peanut butter for them out there. Even the little kids gobble it up. Kids in the USA would probably blow chunks if they tried it. I grew up on it. My mom was from Norway and she grew up on it. When I was a kid, she had a penpal from Norway that would ship us fresh tubes all the time. I guess we just grew accustomed to it. Its definately an acquired taste to say the least. Either you like it or you dont. It tasted like ground up cod fish. Salty and fishy is the best way I can describe it. You cant buy it anywere in the USA. I used to have a hook up here in town. Some place called Ta Lin Market had it and I was so excited. Well, my brother in law and I must have been the only ones buying it and they quickly ran out and have not restocked. I was not pleased with that. I am going to have to have a chat with the manager of that store. But first, I need to learn to speak chinese.

Morning Person
Well, I started working my new schedule at work. 7am to 4pm Thursday through Monday. Today was my saturday. It's not that bad actually. Getting up at 5:30am is easier than I thought. Plus it's really nice getting off at 4pm. So I think we will be having a shift bid at work shortly and maybe I can get weekends off too. That would be nice.
I used to not be a morning person. I remember sleeping well into the afternoons in my early days. Now, when my alarm goes off in the morning, I get up right away. I dont like snoozing much because it makes me more tired I think. The drive to work is pretty easy. Not many people on the road at 6am. The drive home sees more traffic but not too bad.

Sushi Day
Yay! Its sushi day. Today I am going to were my wife works so we can get sushi for lunch. We love sushi. We have been to most sushi places here in Albuquerque but not all. Seems like they have quite a bit here. I remember when it used to be not that popular but now there seems to be a sushi place at every corner. Its all good though.
Looks like I finally will be getting a better shift at work. Someone at work wants to trade shifts with me. It will be 7am to 4pm Thursday through Monday. Not the best but way better than what Ive got. I will be able to hang out with the Fam at night and not get home so late anymore which I like. That should start this Sunday. So that means I will work Saturday from 1pm to 10pm and the get up the next morning at 5:30am to make it to work by 7am. Itll be rough but only one day that I have to do that.

Well, how about that?
I got a blog. Nice. Well lets see here. I guess I am supposed to type some info about what is going on in my life. I just got up a little while ago so my brain is not working at peak performance yet. I think I need some coffee. Yea, that should work. Anyway, whats going on today? Its the start of my weekend which is a good thing. But I really dont care for having Thursday and Friday off. I would rather have Saturday and Sunday off so I can hang with my awesome wife. My boss keeps saying that a shift bid is coming soon but I am not seeing it. Its February already and I am still on this crappy shift. Its starting to get annoying. I have been on this shift (1pm till 10pm Saturday through Wednesday) since last July and I am hating every minute of it. But what can you do? I took a promotion and had to start at the bottom. Now I am ranked #5 out of 14 analysts so I think I should be able to get a decent shift. Anyway, thats work life for ya. Wifey is doing good. Having fun with her scrapbooking and crafts. She has a blog too. Check it out here. http://scrapstampknit.blogspot.com/
Soph, (Step-daughter) is doing good. In the 5th grade now and growing very fast. She is really into VMK on the computer now. Kinda like an online game for kids I guess.
I have another blog for this game that I am playing called "eve online" http://www.eve-online.com/ and that blog is here http://markseveblog.blogspot.com/ Its pretty dorky and if you are not into Eve online or do not know what it is, dont bother going there because you wont understand any of it.
Well, thats all for now. More later. I am going to have some coffee and chill out on my day off. C-ya :)
