State meet

Today is Sophies final gymnastics meet of the season. Here at G-Force gym in Albuquerque. Strangly enough, it is the same place I useto work out at when I was in high school. Except it was called Champions Gym at that time. Anyway, good luck Soph!

Another month has come and gone

Here we are at the end of another month.  Time seems to be flying by lately.  Probably because I am getting older.  Cant believe that its almost March already.  Before I know it, it will be Christmas again.  Oh no. :)

Green Chile in Alaska?

Can this be right?  This is a picture of a menu in Skagway Alaska at the Skagway Brewing Company.  Great beer and food.  While we didn't try the dish with green chile, I have to say that if we did, it wouldn't have been anything like the green chile in NM.

It's a beautiful thing

Level 77 has finally arrived for Mcmanis. Its been a long hard road so far but he still has 3 more levels to go till he maxes out at 80. But in the mean time, it doesn't hurt to be able to fly now. Cold weather flying was 1000 gold and way worth it. Now he just needs to save up 5000 more gold to be able to get the fast flying mount.

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption

From way back in the day, I remember playing the original Metroid game on the NES. It was fun. What was even better was super Metroid which added a whole new aspect to the game. Then came the first 3d metroid game, Metroid prime for them game cube. That one was great but I didn't play it much because I ended up giving the game cube to my sister for her kids. Now that we have the Wii, I finally got back into the Metroid franchise and got Metroid Prime 3 corruption. Wow. Using the motion activated controllers is really cool. Played a bit last night. Getting used to the controls. Fun times.

Nagrand, Dragonblight and Grizzly Hills

Here are some cools pics that I have taken lately while adventuring throughout World of Warcraft. Mcmanis is up to about halfway through level 76. Only half a level to go till he can start flying in Northrend. Woo Hoo

Faster than expected

Mcmanis has gained another level and is now at 76. I actually had a lot of time to play last weekend. Got a lot of quests done in Borean, Dragonblight and Zul'Drak. Now working on Grizzly Hills and Scholozar Basin. Good old Nessingwary quests are always fun.

Wow, Almost forgot

Tomorrow marks the 1 year anniversary of the Just chillin' blog.  I thought I would put in a quick post about it before I forget.  Hard to beleive its been a year since I have been posting pointless stuff on this blog.  LOL   Anyway, I may post something tomorrow about it as well.  Maybe not.  Depends if I have something interesting to say.

Level 75

Finally hit level 75 with McManis while questing in Zul'Drak. Didn't think I would make it but kept on questing and eventually got there. The levels are going by at a snails pace. Not really sure when he will hit 80. 5 more levels to go. Right now I am focusing on hitting level 77 so I can get cold weather flying and use my mount again. Then its going to be a long road to save up 5k gold to get the fast flying mount. Its a little early to speculate when I will hit level 80 but here goes anyway. Level 8o will occur on May 17th 2009. The wheels are in motion. We will see if I am right this time.

Jury Duty

I recently finished serving as a juror for the first time.  It was interesting.  I learned a lot about the judicial system.  I didn't think I would get picked for the trial but I did.  Most of the people on the jury were much older than me.  It was ok though.  I kinda wish we all came to an agreement on the main count but there was this old guy and lady that were not going to change their mind and convict the guy.  So we were hung which kinda sucked.  Oh well.  I am not sure if I will serve as a juror again but if I get picked again, I would be ok with it.
