WoW Update

Been playing a little WoW lately. Got my Undead warrior to level 85 now and am working on randoms. Pretty fun stuff. Just trying to gear him up so I can run heroics. This dang heroics are hard. I have yet to get through one. I guess its all about getting the right group.

I am still unclear of my WoW future once SWTOR comes out. I really want to play it. I am hoping it will come out soon. We will see what happens I guess.

Old pictures

Not sure why I am in to all this vintage looking stuff. But I am. Found another app that makes pictures look old. I like it. I also like old worn out clothing too. Weird, I know.

On another note, I had my post op follow up just a little while ago. Everything looking good. It's been 2 weeks since my surgery and I'm feeling pretty good.

Thyroidless

Surgery is done. Now on the road to recovery. I have been feeling a little better each day. It's been 5 days and I am so glad it's done. Still can't believe I had surgery. I was always dreading the day. But it wasn't too bad. Felt like I took a nap with no dream. Anyway, it's back to work on Monday. I should be ok to work I think.

U2

Went to Minneapolis this last weekend and saw U2 at the TCF bank stadium. Uh, awesome. It was very cool. Even the torrential downpour that we received didn't alter the cool factor. This was the biggest concert I have ever been to. And one of the best.

Surgery

My first ever surgery is coming up soon. August 1st. I am having a thyroidectomy. Not looking forward to it. But if it can resolve this pain in my neck I have been having for the last 3 years, I'm all for it. I am a little nervous. I know that I will be a lot nervous once the day comes. I have to have a Gastroesophagoduodenoscopy done on July 27th which doesnt sound like much fun either. It where they stick that camera down your throat. Ughh. I just want to get it overwith.

Jax

We are watching Jax again this weekend. He belongs to Joe. You know, owner of Joes Knighthawk. Anyway, Jax has been real good. He thinks he is smaller than what he is. And he is really scared of thunder and fireworks sounds.

Gunder

Here's what I had for lunch today. A one pound Gunder burger. Pretty awesome stuff. I finished the whole thing. In fact, it has been the second time I have done so. It's a little old restaurant called the Irish shanty located in Gunder Iowa. Pretty cool place.
