Hot day

Geez, its hot today. Got the AC cranked. Feels ok inside but its a swamp cooler so it can only do so much. I am getting ready to head up to Santa Fe today. There is a get together today for a friend, Luis, who passed away recently. Great guy. It is really sad to see him go.

Got a lot of packing done this weekend so far. I need to get some more boxes yet again. Wow, there is a lot of stuff to pack. More than I thought. I want to have everything packed in the next week or so. Going to be moving to Iowa very soon.

End of a long weekend

Here we are at the end of another weekend. Not looking forward to what's to come tomorrow. You guessed it. Work. Ughhhh. Hopefully the week goes by quickly. Got some more stuff cleaned and packed from the house. Starting to realize that I have more stuff than I though. Throwing away a lot of junk. I still need some more boxes to pack stuff. Gonna have to make another run to Lowes for supplies. I hope to be out of here within the next month.

4th of July

Went to a barbeque at my bros house tonight and lit off some cool firworks. Had a good time. Also saw some cool firworks at the high school nearby.

Wow another month down. This year is going pretty quick. Actually halfway over already. I am still working on the house. Getting it cleaned and packed up. Shouldn't be too much longer till its ready to sell and I can get the heck outa dodge. I am really excited about moving to Iowa and being with my honey again.

In other news, my fridge is dying and my check engine light came on in my car. Hopefully nothing serious. I need to take ole blackie into the shop this weekend to see what's wrong with her. Not too happy about the nice cracks in the windshield that have been growing over the days.
